Helping with the Troop tonight in the absence of two other leaders. Bridge building. Not where you are trying to be peace makers and trying to ensure that everyone gets on with each other (although that might have helped tonight!) but actually building a bridge across a local stream.

The remit: Nepal – We are part of the humanitarian task force helping to bring essential medical supplies to the earthquake victims of that country. Using only a few spars of timber and some rope that we were able to recover from around us the Scouts were tasked with building a bridge over a fast flowing river.
