The Group Executive is made up from a number of volunteers who are responsible for the day to day running of the Group and look after the finances and administration etc.  Because the Group is also a Charity, each member of the Executive is also a Trustee.

The Executive is led by the Group Chairperson, Group Treasurer and Group Secretary, none of whom are allowed to hold a warranted leadership position within the Group. The Group Scout Leader (or Scouter-in-Charge), together with his Section Leaders from the Beaver Colony, Cub Pack and Scout Troop represent the uniformed members of this Group.

Parents are invited to join the Executive to represent each Section as well.  We are fortunate to have a parent member for each of our three Sections.

It is with immense pride that the Group received recognition of the hard work of all its members, young and old, by being awarded the COUNTY STANDARD in 2004. Each member wears this badge on the right sleeve of their Scout uniform.  It is the West Sussex County Badge with the addition of a yellow border.
