We are aged between 10 ½ (11) and 14 years old and meet on Friday evenings between 7.30pm and 9.30pm.

We enjoy a varied and challenging programme of fun and activities to help us work as an individual or as part of a team.  Our teams are called PATROLS and the most senior member of the PATROL is known as the PATROL LEADER.  He or she is helped by the ASSISTANT PATROL LEADER.  These Scouts wear a badge to show the responsibility that they have in the Troop.

We can achieve badges and awards including:-

  • OUTDOOR CHALLENGE
  • OUTDOOR CHALLENGE PLUS
  • CREATIVE CHALLENGE
  • FITNESS CHALLENGE
  • GLOBAL CHALLENGE
  • COMMUNITY CHALLENGE
  • ADVENTURE CHALLENGE
  • EXPEDITION CHALLENGE
  • PROMISE CHALLENGE
  • The highest award that we can gain in the Scout Section is the CHIEF SCOUT’S GOLD AWARD.

There are also 70 different activity badges that we can achieve together with a further 6 ‘staged’ badges.
